TotosWORLD Welcome to "USHIBEKI" RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS, and the wonderful world of "Toto" who is otherwise known as in show dog and pedigreed dog circles as:- Aust. Champion "Usakose Northern Success (AI)" Sire: American Ch. Mbadas Mhondoro of Iskandar TT (USA) Dam: Multi BISS/ RUBISS Australian Ch. Usakose Flyin Firstclass (Born 23/3/2000; Titled 6/10/01) Toto lives in North Queensland in the Thuringowa district close to the N.Q. Capital City of Townsville. Toto arrived at Townsvilles' airport at the tender age of 2 months, after having been dispatched earlier that day by his breeder, Mrs. Sharron Taylor of Highfields, near Toowoomba, in the south east of Queensland. It was with both our great delight and surprise that Sharron selected our home for the pick boy from such an exceptional litter, and it has been both a joy to not only watch him grow, but to have had him so effortlessly gained his Australian Title. Although conformation shows are not held that often here in the north of the state in comparison to the south-east corner, Toto has still managed to gain the required points for his title in his first full show season. His show achievements and other aspects of his life to date can be observed via the navigation buttons to the left. This first page is dedicated to the little fella' that we first met and who managed to capture ours, and everyone elses heart :-) |
Here's the little guy having just jumped off a flying kangaroo and having had cuddles and drinky poos, and has now turned into Mr. Protective as Margie attempts to capture the arrival of our little go-getter. |
Yeh I know, we're probably breaking all the rules, but the little bugger wouldn't settle, and while her highness slept, I folded and ended up looking the goose with the little bloke in the A.M. |
Early on day 2, we're at the other end of the front landing having brekky, and little Toto has already picked his spot. We've got plenty of room, believe you me, but to this day, Toto sits in this spot checking things out, if Margie or I are away. Talk about an instant watch dog, although between him and his brother Eze, they keep wrecking his little house:-] |
The little gardener was cute at first but his ability to destroy a neat and tidy home-yard became quite evident. Amazingly, Toto has turned out to be pretty well environmentally friendly, where as he's grown, not a feral animal in its' right mind will step onto our block, and apart from ibises all the natives are OK with Toto. |
Typically, the dog found somewhere really "comfortable" to rest, and to this day he still tries to squeeze between me and the journal rack, and usually succeeds, once he's nudged me out of the way ! |
Yeh right...........cute and all that stuff........Margie paid for these shots, believe you me, and lovely little Toto decided that the circulation in my groin wasn't important ! |
Ouch !! what about my circulation you little b......... Oh well I guess he's certainly fitted in. All these shots were taken on Toto's first couple of days at our place, and we have heaps more shots of the little bludger "hard at it", acting the fool at shows and everywhere else, so in time you'll get to see a lot more of our boy as he goes about keeping NQ safe :-))))))))))) |

I hope you like Toto, he is very special to us and many believe an excellent representative, bearing all the hallmarks of the breed. All that aside, Toto is a very efficient and effective hunter, and while we may be short on lions here in Oz, the general macropod population are terrified :-) A special thanks (mostly) goes to Margaret (aka Margie) for her photographic contributions. Well it might be a cute photo of the little pain, but if my memory serves me right, he'd just taken a big chomp on my finger, and I wasn't impressed ! re; the shot on the right, I thing he knows where his dinner bowl is..........but just isn't that 'Pacific' water blue.........................:-))))))))))))) |
